My University Room Tour

Finally tidied my room and can finally show you guys what my university room is like! I only have a few months left here but I have managed to make my little cave of a room a home away from home!

Break to Bath

Apologies for not posting in a while but for the last few days I have spent visiting my friend in Bath. I took a few bits of video whilst I was there to test out a potential vlogging camera - safe to say I think I will need a different one! So apologies that this video is a bit shaky! Anyhoo I also wanted to start practicing my editing and so this little video was born. And yay an excuse to start a YouTube channel! Yeah if anyone fancies subscribing that would be pretty cool but you know no peer pressure or anything so enjoy friends xxx

A bit more about me - 20 Questions Time

You're here, I'm still here so that means only one thing: it's time for another post! 

So I thought I'd do another nice and easy introductory post today this time telling you guys a bit more about me! 

I asked a few friends to give me some questions and I've thrown in some of my own little random thoughts (you can probably guess which ones) to try and make this post more exciting for all!

Feel free to comment your own answers below or even ask me some more questions for a future post! 

Without further ado: 

1) Favourite place to shop?

Currently it is Boots! Whilst the shops are in that strange limbo between winter-spring-summer clothes I tend to avoid clothes shopping until both the shops and the weather become a bit more constant! So cosmetics is what I spend my money (a.k.a student loan) on. I love it but my bank balance and my storage spaces do not!

2) Who is your idol?

I've never been asked this before so I've never really thought about it. Sure there are a lot of people, past and present that I find inspirational but I am wary about saying my idol is someone in the media as I believe that I will never truly know what they are like - therefore do I really want to aspire to someone I don't know?! So my idol would probably have to be my mum. She works so hard and manages to create order from chaos which is definitely something I need to get better at! Although I also believe that I should aspire to be someone that my younger self would look up to and respect. I just try and do what is right by me: be true to yourself and all of those cliches! (sorry for all the ramblings)

3) What do you like to do to relax?

I'm not very good at relaxing, I'm just one of those people that cannot fully switch off from work so my relaxation is usually half hearted or in the form of procrastination from work! Usually it's with music or with a good book, but actually I'm finding writing my blog very relaxing! 

History Society Spring Ball

Testing, testing...first photo post! So last night was the History Society Spring Ball and thus no big post. But it was a very lovely evening with decent food for once which thankfully I didn't have to cook! And a lot of free wine, shame it didn't taste too great! But it was a great evening to catch up with friends and get dolled up!

Hello all and welcome to my blog! Today I will try keep it short and sweet (like me *chuckle*) and give you all a short introduction to this little virtual space of me!

So what is my blog all about do I hear you ask? Well to be honest I'm not 100% sure what I want to focus on yet as I really just want a medium in which to express myself and an opportunity to declutter the jumble of ideas and thoughts that are in this head of mine! But expect lifestyle posts and beauty mainly but I would love to do book, music and film reviews because I'm a lazy-arse and I spend a lot of time doing those things! 

As a uni student I do have other time commitments (but don't worry you're my favourites) and so as much as I would love to blog everyday, lets be realistic and agree that it will be as often as I can. So yeah also expect a lot of grumblings about university life and hopefully some useful advice if you are thinking of university/college.

So yeah it would be great if you stick around and see what I have to offer this big world of the internets.
